justwrite 30 july

i am fevering up a storm normally there would be a sleepy idea or two floating through but now it is a waterfall a cattle call for all the king's horses to rubber cement their prints into place i am tracing the line and it is not straight there is no wait worth the fate the chase the case unmade by congestion the lack of suggestions for alternate methods the wilderness ends and the pretend bends in the track counteract countertop every four hours but the degrees won't stop and the fan is not a plan just a pretend lending library of scary suggestions and the lessons i have learned are careful jealousy and the dependency on masking tape to wake the walls from stalling out though sticky tack is better when it's not blue and true enough it's tough to decipher the clues here if there are any but i'm straining to maintain normalcy a madeup word a written absurd spoken token of the presidency but we can plainly see spain and the rain that ought to come and install a curtain to open up to air the fare worth all money the breath like sweet honey traveling into ravelling lungs strung along by heartache the love of sleep deep and distressing enchanting like dressing of imaginary herbs and spices delighting in igniting a salad from its own garden corner warming to the occasion and dreaming of the chill

I hope you feel better. :)
also, I was going through boxes of books from my old room today and I found one called "The Hoboken Chicken Emergency," which made me think of you and laugh a lot.
