make the most of the toast of the scene
mean business without meaning mean
lean into the opportunity without pressing too hard
the cards are stacked and considering collapse
no structure to reduce to --
the pieces of the pie we're used to
asking for another helping when i see leftovers
spinning rewind that the end times might not be
you've got me guessing but i'm catching on
long drawn out doubts unsteady in the heading
but the night is brighter than the last gone by
