which when am i really awake and
who's in charge of being in charge?
there are angles we've contracted to be protracted
but we're collapsing the gaps in between
to screen the results and filter the talk
that falls out whenever we hope
there's a trope there but we won't compare cards
harder than a cannon ball but less likely to sting
there's a thing i ought to mention before
the score gets higher than expected too fast
i gasp at the incline and soon enough it's flipped
clip your own wings if you have to but
