running upstream dreams
themes in underline
borderline fantasy
can't see the trees without forests
can't swim the seasons with no calendar
strain the seeds and trim the weeds
that's someone else's garden growing
furrowed browsing and leftover quests
seek and hide the flag -- drag and drop to capture
if there was a road i'd climb it
if there was a mountain i'd fly
sky light too heavy to bear
noise washed away out of sight
focus and the sense adds up to feel

side note
While this blog's original purpose was to keep myself honest in my practice of doing daily justwrites-- 10-minute freewrites from some unusual starting points-- it has meandered to occasionally include other sorts of writing, to address other goals, and to even include other authors. Now, its main function is as a sort of verbal/ thought outcropping in public view. These are not polished pieces, and most are completely rough drafts. As some pieces may be developed through revision, your comments are most appreciated.
