so when i came back it was hard to tell where else i'd been -- no directions made it clear how to get here from there, and i didn't want any instructions on how to end up there again -- although i knew i'd probably be back soon, if the log was any indication -- i planned instead to try to see more of the sights here while i still had time, knowing how soon the wrong path could suddenly rise up underfoot on the way to elsewhere plans
