i got there early tonight
ready to make an effort
to smile, to help where i am needed
to use resources wisely and every other part of the girl scout law
to turn out but not the vote just the way forward
there would be traffic and there was but still i planned for it
planned to be there despite no response to my rsvp
i am ready even if you are not and i can help with that
