arbitrary labels unstable enough to come off

a natural leader in uncertain directions

chasing after meaning well

patience past the stumbling through words

stepping back from hoping after more

nachos, pajamas, quilt on the couch –

we weren’t waiting for

let us not look past

they do their job –

our positions are off course of course

and the angles only try
