Part of the risk is what happens when you stop – is it
possible to keep on going but at a different pace? The problem with easing off
from Atkins, for example: there is no way. On one side, there’s no carbs or
low-carb. On the other side, there’s just Carbs. Likewise, there’s flossing
every day, and there’s not. Working out every day and not. The going is partly
what keeps the going going on.
Today at work I was kicked out of my seat, with simultaneous
insistence that I was not being kicked out. The stubbornness with which
insisted on vacating outdid the insistence on not-asking. Nobody wins.
