like a light switches on and off
but sometimes – in between – flickers
as if undecided
not quite ready
uncertain if everything all at once is really the way
to go about it after all
whatever it is
twitching static arcs and crinkly sounds
unable to rest, to steady
heady with activity and thirsty for resolution
