so much moon
when you turn off the day
notice the light that fills the emptiness
even as the overcloud wing slices through
groundbound stadiums poke highlights up
forward is the unknown as the nose blows past the apst
now the clouds round smoothly to waves
new treetops in a broccoli forest
meanwhile in the inflight
dazzling dolls and their drama dunked mamas
even as the chips the cookie the soda go by
let us turn now back to dark
lower the sky and up the moon
keep the night drawn close
tuck in safe to land
